With more than 15 years of international experience across executive assistance, VIP client management, luxury retail and hospitality, Kateryna has worked in environments where discretion, attention to detail and highly personalised service are fundamental.

Her professional experience includes supporting ultra-high-net-worth individuals, VIP clients and royal families, giving her first-hand insight into the standards and sensitivities involved in private service environments.

This background led her to specialise in bespoke private staffing recruitment and team development, with a particular focus on understanding not only a candidate’s professional experience, but also their discretion, service mindset, communication style and compatibility with the principal or family they will support.

Kateryna founded Merlo Private Staffing to create a more personal and consultative approach to international private recruitment — one built around trust, cultural understanding and long-term compatibility rather than volume-based hiring.

Today, she oversees searches across Private Household Staff, Family Office Recruitment, Private Yachting and Private Aviation, supporting clients internationally in building discreet, reliable and highly professional teams.
